Product Overview

The CATL 74.6V 148.5Ah pack is a turnkey 11.1 kWh NMC traction battery built from twenty CATL 148.5 Ah prismatic cells in a 20S1P configuration. It is designed for light electric vehicles — most commonly electric three-wheelers and battery-swap fleets — where a compact, high-capacity pack has to fit an existing vehicle frame.

Nominally 74.6 V with a 148.5 Ah capacity, the pack delivers 11.1 kWh of usable energy and sustains 120 A continuous discharge with 150 A peaks for up to 90 seconds. Cells are matched and configured around a CCS busbar design inside a welded sheet-steel enclosure with reinforced side panels, so the finished pack withstands the vibration and shock loads typical of two- and three-wheeler duty.

Charging is specified at 50 A standard and up to 120 A continuous, and remains available down to -20 °C ambient. An optional heating film extends that further for cold-climate deployments. Cycle life is rated at 1500 cycles with at least 70% of initial capacity retained at 25 ± 5 °C.

Key Features

Compact, high-capacity — 11.1 kWh in 630 × 336 × 190 mm

A densely packed 20S1P build keeps the whole battery inside a single envelope that drops into most three-wheeler frames without re-engineering.

Built for real duty cycles — 120 A continuous / 150 A peak

Sized around a 3 kW drivetrain, the pack sustains 120 A continuously and 150 A for 90 s bursts — 100 km+ of range per charge in normal driving.

Long service life — 1500 cycles

Tested at 25 ± 5 °C to hold ≥70% of initial capacity after 1500 cycles — roughly five years on a two-day charge cycle.

All-weather charging — -20 ~ 55 °C charge window

Charging stays available down to -20 °C, and an optional heating film keeps cold-climate fleets on the road.

Applications

  • Electric three-wheelers — cargo and passenger
  • Battery-swap fleets for two- and three-wheelers
  • Low-speed electric vehicles (LSEV)
  • Last-mile delivery vehicles
  • Light electric trucks and utility carts
  • Micro-EV and retrofit platforms

About the Cell

The pack is built on the CATL 148.5 Ah NMC prismatic cell — a 3.73 V nominal, 553.9 Wh cell weighing 2245 ± 40 g, with a 1 kHz internal resistance of 0.35 mΩ or less. Cells are capacity-, resistance- and voltage-matched before assembly so pack-level balance is consistent from the first cycle.

Pack data is taken from the CATL 148.5 Ah product introduction; cell-level figures are taken from the 148.5 Ah cell specification. Performance depends on the drive cycle, ambient temperature, BMS configuration and how the pack is installed — please request the batch-specific test report before ordering.

FAQs

We have established stable supply channels with first-tier cell manufacturers, including Farasis. All supplied cells are original factory genuine products, shipped in original packaging, with batch-level traceability information available.

MOQ depends on the model and on current inventory. We support sample orders and small-batch trial orders, with tiered pricing for bulk purchases. Please fill in the model and required quantity in the "Request a Quote" form below and we will come back with a corresponding solution and price.

Yes. We can perform capacity, internal resistance and voltage grouping to customer requirements, and provide PACK structural design, BMS integration, connection processes (laser welding / ultrasonic welding) and thermal management solutions.

Lead time is confirmed against model inventory and production scheduling, and the specific date is included in the quote. Cells are Class 9 dangerous goods and are shipped through qualified hazardous-goods logistics channels; UN38.3, MSDS and transport identification reports are available.

On request we can provide MSDS, UN38.3 test reports, transport identification reports, factory QC reports and batch consistency data. The exact document set depends on the model and the order requirements.

Warranty scope and duration follow the original manufacturer's policy and the signed contract. If anything is abnormal on arrival or in use, please keep the original packaging and batch information and contact our technical support team.
