LiFePO4 Battery Pack Manufacturer & OEM Supplier

DIDIDEDE is a LiFePO4 battery pack manufacturer and OEM supplier based in Hangzhou, China. We design and assemble lithium iron phosphate packs for e-bikes, electric motorcycles, cargo tricycles, low-speed vehicles and solar storage – from a single working prototype to repeat production runs.

Every pack is built around matched cells, a programmable BMS and a housing that fits the vehicle or enclosure it goes into. Because we supply cells as well as finished packs, we can quote the same build in LFP or NMC and tell you honestly which chemistry suits your duty cycle, weight budget and target cycle life.

Key takeaways

  • DIDIDEDE is a LiFePO4 battery pack manufacturer and OEM supplier in Hangzhou, China, building packs for e-bikes, electric motorcycles, cargo tricycles, low-speed vehicles and solar storage – from a single prototype to repeat production runs.
  • The standard range spans 48V to 74V: 48V 40Ah, 48V 31Ah (Model 4830), 48V 62Ah, 60V 30Ah and 40Ah in stainless steel, 72V 30Ah, 74V 31Ah, and the CATL 74.6V 148.5Ah NMC pack at 11.1 kWh.
  • Chemistry follows the duty cycle: LiFePO4 where cycle life and thermal stability matter most, NMC pouch cells where energy density per kilogram decides the design.
  • Packs ship with UN38.3 test summary, MSDS, CE declaration and IEC 62133, as class 9 dangerous goods (UN3480 alone, UN3481 with equipment), declared under HS code 8507.60.
  • Two packs described the same way are not necessarily interchangeable – check charge voltage, discharge cut-off and cell configuration before substituting one for another.

Standard pack range

Our catalogue covers the voltages that most light electric vehicles use. Browse the full Battery Pack range, or start from one of these builds:

Two packs described the same way are not necessarily interchangeable. How to read a battery pack specification sheet goes through each line — voltage window, capacity conditions, current ratings, cycle life test conditions and the omissions that matter.

Where our packs are used

We build for the same duty cycles our vehicles run in, so the packs are proven in the field. For a full breakdown by vehicle type, see our e-bike battery packs and electric motorcycle battery packs:

Cells and chemistry

A pack is only as consistent as the cells inside it. We build with LiFePO4 (LFP) where cycle life and thermal stability matter most, and with NMC pouch cells where energy density per kilogram decides the design. You can buy the cells on their own from our Battery Cell range, buy in volume through our lithium cells wholesale supply, or let us grade and match them into a pack:

Cell selection starts with the grading file — capacity, internal resistance and self-discharge per lot. How to read a cell grading report explains which columns matter and which spreads are acceptable.

Built for export: certification and shipping

Export paperwork is part of the product, not an afterthought. Packs ship with:

  • UN38.3 test summary – required for transport of lithium batteries
  • MSDS (material safety data sheet)
  • CE declaration of conformity
  • IEC 62133 – safety of portable sealed secondary cells and batteries

We ship by sea, air and rail as dangerous goods class 9 (UN3480 for batteries alone, UN3481 for batteries packed with or contained in equipment), and declare lithium-ion batteries under HS code 8507.60 on the commercial invoice. If your market needs additional documentation, tell us at enquiry stage so it can be built into the schedule.

For what each certificate actually covers and who issues it, see our lithium battery export document checklist.

Certification is paperwork; packaging is physical. What goes on the carton matters as much as what is in the file — see lithium battery packaging and marking for UN box codes, mark sizes and the checks before a pallet leaves.

Getting the pack into the country is one obligation; what happens to it at the end of its life is another. Under EU, UK and US state rules the importer is usually the producer for recycling purposes. See what end-of-life compliance involves, including the labels and battery passport data to specify up front.

If you want to check any of this yourself, the documents, packing rules and end-of-life obligations are written up step by step in our battery resources — including the export document check list and how UN specification boxes and the lithium battery mark work.

Custom pack development: spec to sample in two weeks

Most enquiries are not for a catalogue part. If you are running a vehicle programme, we can go from a written spec to a working sample in about two weeks, with a minimum order quantity of 3 units for prototype and sample builds. See the full custom battery pack OEM process.

  1. Send the spec – voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, dimensions, connector, communication (CAN / UART), IP rating, target cycle life.
  2. Cell and BMS selection – we propose two or three configurations with the trade-offs on cost, weight and cycle life spelled out.
  3. Mechanical design – housing, busbars, potting and mounting points.
  4. Sample build – assembled and bench tested in roughly two weeks.
  5. Validation – capacity, internal resistance, thermal behaviour, BMS protection thresholds.
  6. Certification and production – UN38.3 documentation, then repeat runs.

The sample is the last cheap point at which to change your mind. How to approve a sample and inspect a shipment covers the checks to run before approval and the sampling plan for the production batch.

Quality control before a pack leaves

  • Cell grading and capacity matching per string
  • Internal resistance screening
  • Busbar welding and torque inspection
  • BMS functional test – over-charge, over-discharge, short circuit, over-current, thermal cut-off
  • 100% end-of-line charge and discharge test
  • Insulation resistance and enclosure ingress checks

Buyers are welcome to audit the line in person or by video. Our battery factory audit checklist sets out what we hand over: cell lot grading data, weld pull-test records, BMS protection logs and end-of-line cycle results keyed to each pack serial number.

What happens after delivery is written down too: cover by component, the capacity retention threshold and the measurement method behind it, and how a claim is handled. See our battery warranty.

Frequently asked questions

What is your MOQ for a custom battery pack?

3 units for prototype and sample builds. Repeat production runs are quoted per project with a price break at volume.

How long does a sample take?

About two weeks from a confirmed specification, including bench testing. Complex housings or bespoke BMS firmware can add time, and we will say so before you order.

Can you match a pack we already use?

Usually yes. Send the existing pack, or photos plus the connector type, pin-out and communication protocol, and we will quote an equivalent or an improved version.

Do you supply cells on their own?

Yes. Our Battery Cell range covers prismatic, cylindrical and pouch cells, including Farasis NMC and semi-solid-state pouch cells.

Which certificates come with the pack?

UN38.3 test summary, MSDS, CE and IEC 62133 as standard. Tell us your destination market and we will confirm what else is needed before production.
